Prelude Welcomes Pete Constantine as VP of Product
Prelude is pleased to announce that we have hired Pete Constantine as our new Vice President of Product. Pete’s focus will be driving product excellence that delights current and future customers that are deploying probes at production scale, to enable continuous security testing in the enterprise.
“We are grateful to Pete that he has chosen to join Prelude and advance the work we are doing to bring continuous security testing to all organizations.” says Spencer Thompson, Co-founder and CEO at Prelude. “Pete’s extensive experience with deploying foundational technologies on production endpoints, at scale, will help create this new category with complete assurance.”
A seasoned technology executive, Pete joins Prelude after spending nearly nine years at Tanium, most recently as their Chief Product Officer, where he oversaw the vision, strategy, and direction of Tanium security solutions.
“As the attack surface expands and the threat landscape evolves, organizations are recognizing that deploying defensive technology to their production endpoints isn’t enough,” Constantine said. “There is a notoriously challenging question being asked in the boardroom, the SOC, and everywhere in between, ‘Are we protected?’ Prelude’s novel approach to continuous security testing at scale helps organizations answer questions of this magnitude and make intelligent decisions that will improve defenses. I’m eager to get to work and help strengthen Prelude’s ability to gather production-scale intelligence and streamline workflows that meaningfully harden defenses.”
With more than 18 years in the technology industry, Pete’s extensive experience includes sales engineering, solutions architecture, and the development, productization, and release of product offerings. An acknowledged expert in endpoint management, asset management and security configuration management, Pete’s distinguished career includes roles with Altiris, Symantec, BigFix and IBM. He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
